Wedding Favors That Preserve the Memories - Photo Album Favors and Wedding Cameras

Giving wedding favors is a relatively new tradition that has come about in recent years. Favors are not required, but they are often expected to be a part of any wedding party. Wedding favors are small, inexpensive items that the bride and groom give to their guests as a special "Thank you" gift. Wedding favors are supposed to be keepsakes that will call to mind the memories of the ceremony, the reception, and the happiness shared with the couple on their special day. What better way to preserve these special memories than including photo album favors and wedding cameras on the shopping list?

Photo album favors are small photo albums that only contain a few leaves for storing photos from the wedding. While these items could be given out and then wedding pictures sent along later, why not include a special gift of a wedding camera so that the guests can take their own pictures of the ceremony and reception? This way the guests have an opportunity to preserve for all time the specific moments that they want most to remember in the years to come.

Wedding cameras are simply inexpensive disposable cameras that are decorated in the themes most commonly used for weddings so that one can be chosen that will fit into the décor without appearing to be out of place. The guests are able to use these cameras just as they would any other to take photos of the couple, the ceremony, the reception, and anything else about the wedding that they consider special enough to warrant a photo to preserve the memory. Afterward, the guests may have the film processed at their convenience and place the wedding photos in the special photo album favors provided by the couple for this purpose.

Photo album favors come in a wide variety of designs and sizes depending on the desires of the couple and their budget. Some may be a little more expensive, but these are decorated much more ornately to fit in as part of the decoration used for the wedding. Others have a much lower price, but are not as fancily decorated. They may or may not hold as many photos as the more expensive versions.

Shopping for photo album favors and wedding cameras could be as simple going to the local Wal Mart or as ornate as purchasing from a bridal boutique. Shopping online will normally provide a better quality list of items to choose from at a lower price. Shopping online for these items can also be combined with shopping for other items needed for the wedding or done separately by the bride and groom when they need a break from the other, more confusing, and more demanding aspects of planning the wedding.

Giving photo album favors in combination with wedding cameras is a very special way to say "Thank you" to one's guests at the wedding because it allows them to choose the memories that they want to preserve of the wedding and provides them with a place to store these special photos so that they can be looked and the memories awakened at any time they choose.
